The iPhone seems pretty much yes to everything to be good - even to now measure blood pressure. It could not be sure without an additional hardware gadget. From iHealth's the iHealth Blood Pressure Monitoring System for $ 99.95 a bit longer, but until now only in the U.S. App Store.

transmitted together with an associated app, and a connection cable for the iPhone, the Blood-pressure cuffs all data the iPhone, where it can be easily read and save. This also works with iPad Touch and iPod.

The really exciting though, is that the data can be directly transferred via Internet to the doctor. Especially for patients with ongoing blood pressure problems, which could bring quite a bit of time savings, if they have to go by the doctor less.
