Jeep Liberty Strut Replacement

Android phone into a media server

Sounds unlikely, but it works obviously very well: The free Android app turns any Twonky Mobile Android phone into a UPnP-and DLNA-compliant media server. Once installed and started by looking for the app to the smartphone memory and sets the found images, music files and videos as streaming media ready for example for PS3, XBox 360 or other media systems such as the WD TV HD Media Player. And as more and more TVs are also DLNA-enabled, it goes with such a TV set even completely without any other hardware.

Some devices support the UPnP control, so that can be assembled directly on the phone and play playlists. The built-in Twonky app Player can also play streaming content itself, provided the other on a network available in UPnP server is ready.
